New: Housing made of carbon composite material !!!
Lightweight Body
The boy of the Hubble Scope 2.1 is FDM 3D-printed from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. At a feather-light 2.2 g, the housing is even lighter than its predecessor. A low weight means less vibration and therefore less strain on your sight.
Higher material strength and slimmer design
The material is stronger, which has allowed us to make the housing even slimmer in some areas. This means it now covers even less of your field of view.
Greater Precision
Thanks to the optimized FDM 3D printing process, the manufacturing tolerances for the housing have been significantly improved. For you, this means that the aperture and fiber bar inserts can be replaced more easily. The fiber can now also be replaced more easily.
100% Field of View
A 1.3 mm narrow transparent bar is used instead of the lens. This prevents dust, dirt or water from collecting in the field of view. Dirty lenses that are difficult to clean are now a thing of the past. This means that only the very narrow lines of the cutting edges are visible and the bar is hardly noticed, if at all, during the aiming process. The bar is mounted sideways as standard so that the scope is suitable for RH and LH without modification. In addition, the bar can be rotated +/-90°, making it adaptable to any personal preference. In each position, the bar is held in the housing by a pin and is thus fixed against rotation.
Ideal Fiber Guidance for Maximum Brightness
The FDM 3D printing technology allows completely free fiber guidance without any restrictions due to the manufacturing process. This allows the 30 cm long optical fiber to be guided into the housing of the Hubble Scope without kinks, sharp edges or small bending radii. In this way, the Hubble Scope always achieves maximum brightness. The blue fiber is recommended for outdoor use only. The required wavelengths are hardly contained in artificial light. As a result, the luminosity of the blue fiber indoor is lower.
Modular Design
The standard Apterture Ring Set is now always included and is supplemented by a cylindrical 6 mm ring and a square 9 mm x 9 mm. The diameter can thus be reduced to 12 mm, 10 mm, 8 mm, 6 mm or to a 9 mm square. In addition, there is still the possibility to make individual apertures. This is particularly advantageous for field shooting, as the aperture can be perfectly adjusted to the distance between the eye and the sight. In addition, a small slotted screwdriver is included in the scope of delivery for easy removal/insertion of the O-rings and replacement of the aperture rings without additional tools.
