Personal description
“Years ago, when I was working out the perfect grip for me, I found that there are a lot of options out there. But I could never actually find what I was looking for. Eventually I have found a standard wooden grip that I had modified just slightly. I made sure that the contact area is slightly curved to the right side what helps with pressure on the thumb. And I made sure that there is enough space to put your hand comfortably in. I always had trouble with placing my hand consistently so with this grip I feel that there is only one way to use it. It really helps with putting pressure high in the grip. I believe that having pressure high in the grip helps with forgiveness.”

“Vor Jahren, als ich den perfekten Griff für mich finden wollte, stellte ich fest, dass es viele Optionen gibt. Aber ich konnte nie genau das finden, wonach ich suchte. Schließlich fand ich einen Standard-Holzgriff, den ich leicht modifiziert hatte. Ich stellte sicher, dass die Kontaktfläche leicht nach rechts gebogen ist, was den Druck auf den Daumen erleichtert. Und ich sorgte dafür, dass genügend Platz vorhanden ist, um die Hand bequem hineinzulegen. Ich hatte immer Schwierigkeiten damit, meine Hand konsistent zu platzieren, also mit diesem Griff habe ich das Gefühl, dass es nur eine Möglichkeit gibt, ihn zu benutzen. Es hilft wirklich, den Druck hoch im Griff zu halten. Ich glaube, dass hoher Druck im Griff die Verzeihlichkeit verbessert.”
