100% Field of View
A 1.3 mm narrow transparent bar is used instead of the lens. This prevents dust, dirt or water from collecting in the field of view. Dirty lenses that are difficult to clean are now a thing of the past. Disturbing reflections of sunlight are also avoided. The bar is cut from acrylic using a specially developed laser cutting process and then precision drilled. As a result, the outer edges are minimally slanted and fit perfectly into the field of view. This means that only the very narrow lines of the cutting edges are visible and the bar is hardly noticed, if at all, during the aiming process. The bore is 100% cylindrical to guide the fiber straight. The bar is mounted sideways as standard so that the scope is suitable for RH and LH without modification. In addition, the bar can be rotated +/-90°, making it adaptable to any personal preference. In each position, the bar is held in the housing by a pin and is thus fixed against rotation.
Ideal Fiber Guidance for Maximum Brightness
The SLS 3D printing technology allows a completely free fiber routing without restrictions due to the manufacturing process. This allows the 30 cm long optical fiber to be guided into the housing of the Hubble Scope without kinks, sharp edges or small bending radii. In this way, the Hubble Scope always achieves maximum brightness.
The blue fiber is recommended for outdoor use only. The required wavelengths are hardly contained in artificial light. As a result, the luminosity of the blue fiber indoor is lower.
Modular Design
The standard Apterture Ring Set is now always included and is supplemented by a cylindrical 6 mm ring and a square 9 mm x 9 mm. The diameter can thus be reduced to 12 mm, 10 mm, 8 mm, 6 mm or to a 9 mm square. In addition, there is still the possibility to make individual apertures. This is particularly advantageous for field shooting, as the aperture can be perfectly adjusted to the distance between the eye and the sight. In addition, a small slotted screwdriver is included in the scope of delivery for easy removal/insertion of the O-rings and replacement of the aperture rings without additional tools.
Stronger Connection between Housing and Threaded Rod
The threaded rod is screwed into the housing over a longer section and glued. This strengthens the connection between the housing and the threaded rod.
Minimum Weight
The housing consists of laser-sintered polyamide and is therefore extremely light. The tighter connection between the housing and the threaded rod additionally allows for the elimination of the locking nut of the predecessor. The low weight further reduces vibration and stress in the sight.
Perfect Pin Position
The viewing plane of the scope has moved exactly to the center of rotation of the threaded rod. This way, the pin always remains in the exact same position when the angle of the scope is adjusted. No matter at what distance is being shot, the scope can always be optimally aligned without having to worry about shifting on the sight scale.
